Vitamin A is critical for our immune function, growth and development and of course, VISION! We get vitamin A in our diets from colorful veggies like red and orange bell peppers πΆοΈ π« and carrots π₯ which have beta-carotene which is converted to Vitamin A. Meats π₯© like beef and liver and dairy π₯ products have fully formed Vitamin A which our body can use right away.

In the United States, Vitamin A deficiency is RARE (Fortunately)! In the US, we don't Have problems with deficiency that other parts of the world see such as immune deficiency, an inability to fight off infections, blindness and skin issues. Toxicity is a HUGE issue as many people think giving MORE Vitamin A will help the immune system, especially in prevention of MEASLES!

Vitamin A LOVES to hang out in fatty tissue so excess dosing will create a TOXIC buildup which can lead to:
β Nausea, vomiting and diarrhea
β Bone and joint pain along with fatigue
β Blurred vision
β Liver Damage
